Pleasantly surprised
I just received – “Weweya Barefoot Shoes for Women Minimalist Running Cross Training Shoe” I have a few barefoot shoes. All of them you can “feel” the ground. But these, while still being “barefoot” have a thicker sole which when walking you don’t feel the ground as much but still feels like a barefoot shoe. They have a medium arch support & inside the shoes it almost looks like a satin lining. They are strong & well made. I am a size 10 & I got a size 10. However, if I planned on wearing a thick sock I would have sized up to the 10 1/2 (Sixze 10 – Big toe hits the top of the shoe) They have a good grip on the ground They are wide in the front but not as wide as I see some barefoot shoes. I would recomend these shoes

Great recommendation
Extremely comfortable! Slowly becoming the unofficial shoe at my work, one co worker got them and now 3 or 4 of us bought them too. Really comfortable when youre on your feet all day.

Very comfortable shoes for an elderly person but a couple issues I didn’t like.
I really like these shoes but there were issues I had. For the pros, they have the roomy toe box, they have removable arch supports, they are very cute, they have reflector tabs for night walking or running, I can get them on and off without untying the shoes. They have soles more like tennis shoes so walking on stones would not be a problem and they look like tennis shoes. The cons are the right shoe pressed the top of my toenail up into the toe box which I did not like. I removed the liner/arch supports which solved that problem but now I don’t have arch supports. And another negative is the fabric under the removable arch support liners is a slick fabric almost like satin material which I think could cause my feet to sweat. I am elderly and have no intentions of running or exercising in these. I just ordered them because of bunions and they are perfect for that.

Perfect flexibility and support for chronic pain!
I ordered 5 different types of barefoot minimalist sneakers, including these, to see if any might be of benefit to my severe joint and back pain from a chronic illness I’ve had for 20 years. I have very finicky feet which don’t like being tightly squished into anything, even compression socks are unbearable. These were the first pair I tried, and they’re the only pair that actually gave me the support I needed while being comfortably roomy and as flexible as a dance shoe. I was a dancer for 35 years (my chronic health condition took me off the dance floor), and love a good dance shoe.. (*thank you Capezio*). Every other pair I tried were also flexible, but I could literally feel everything I was stepping on, there was zero support, and worst of all, I felt every single step in my back and joints. I don’t go totally barefoot,or walk around in sock feet because it hurts. These shoes are barefoot minimalist, and let you feel the surface you’re walking on without actually feeling any razor sharp gravel in your nerve endings. I tried walking outside to my car in another pair, and ended up having to tip toe back into the house quickly. These however… I’ve literally been living in these shoes for the past 3 days. I bought another pair in a different color.. and the only thing I’m apprehensive about, is what that color will actually look like when it gets here. The ones I’ve just ordered (and am currently wearing) are black… and it’s kinda hard to screw that color up too much. Seriously though.. if you suffer from a chronic pain condition (esp if you’ve had it for years.. I’ve suffered from mine for over 20 years and I just turned 41) which causes mid to lower back pain, joint pain (hips and knees esp), can’t tolerate tight shoes or walking around with little to no support… This is your shoe!!!

Not minimalist nor barefoot
These are so-so not OK. They aren’t minimalist nor are they barefoot shoes. The arch support insole that comes in the shoe defeats the barefoot purpose. So yes, ok; just remove the arch support insole and put a different one in. But which one? The toe box is very wide (as it should be) and any regular insole is too narrow. I bought the largest pair of wool insoles and trimmed them down and put them in the shoes and the insole is still too narrow inside the shoe. The shoes are still too wide (and too thick now, too). Why can’t the manufacturers offer an option that you can choose either a ‘support’ insole or ‘barefoot’ insole?I didn’t want to buy a project; I just wanted a pair of zero drop barefoot shoes I could slip on and off easily. Best to just pass on these.

Comfortable enough just not what I needed.
Shoes are comfortable enough. Fit fine. Well made and look good. Would probably be okay for working out. I got them for work at a superstore, where I am a stocker and am on my feet for eight hour days. Standing and lots of walking, climbing ladders, etc. I’ve been wearing different brands of barefoot minimalist shoes for several years and have found that style really suits me. My problem is when I find some I really love they are discontinued and the replacement never is as good. If i find one that works I generally by a second pair for backup. So I’m constantly searching. I wore these to work one day and by my lunch break I was wishing I’d brought another pair to switch into. I’ll keep them for casual wear since they are comfortable for light use but I will continue my search for another good pair of shoes for work.
